If you are interested in having your own, fresh eggs we offer hens that are just starting to lay. We raise them from chick to grown bird alongside our own replacement laying hens throughout spring and summer. They need to be pre-ordered by February as we only raise what we have orders for. Specifics
We can raise your pullets for any amount of time from just out of the brooder at about 3 weeks old to ready to lay at 18 weeks old. We charge $7/bird plus $1/week of age. Currently we raise Isa Browns from Rochester Hatchery. Their beaks will not be clipped to allow them to forage naturally. They are fed non-organic, unmedicated feed.
